To be honest Canon PowerShot S90 is an average camera with better than average quality which is not recommended for professional photographer. However, it has adequate capability for beginner or those who will utilize the camera for normal use. Canon PowerShot has compact design and lightweight with only seven ounces, so this Canon digital camera will not become a burden for you to carry whenever you’re on the go.
The features it brings give friendly-use that it enables you to control it both manual and semi-manual shooting modes. The camera presents the 10 megapixels of resolution and for this reason it will be a preferable device and ideal for above-average users. Other features offered are small and pop-up flash, control ring to adjust aperture, ISO, exposure compensation, shutter speed, zoom focus, and white balance. Moreover, the wide angle f2 lens allows you to capture a very good low-light photo quality.
On the other hand, Canon PowerShot S90 is unfortunately to have several fallbacks. It has been mentioned at the beginning of this article that Canon PowerShot average capability will merely give you average performance. As digital camera, the lack of shutter lag is a drawback. Moreover, it is incapable of performing fast shooting mode which is seen to be a significant lost learning the higher price it tagged.
Another downside observed is the zoom capability shows short zoom and it doesn’t give support during the recording mode. The HD movie capture capability is also cut out. The average capability is proved as this Canon PowerShot camera suffers from optical viewfinder and includes some barrel distortion. In addition, this camera also spends a while to turn on. In brief, if you are a professional photographer you will not be able to find significant features to help you to do the serious photography, but this camera is the right choice for those who need better than average digital camera since it gives excellent photo quality.
