The HP Pavilion Slimline s5710f comes with very simple and minimalist design from plastic glossy black and metal side painted in black. There’re several perforation on the side and the top, used for cooling vents. There’s a sticker stating that users shouldn’t put the computer against the wall since it will block the cooling system.

The computer comes in small chassis which means there’s internal expansion. The PCIe x1 expansion card allows WiFi card for connection. There’re actually 2 lots available, but on is blocked – and for unknown reason. X16 slots means that users are only limited to integrated graphics, which also applied to four memory DIMM slots, which are weird since two are available but two never been installed. The computer comes with 6 in 1 card reader, which can be used in SD, Memory Stick, and xD card.

The computer is available with HP download Store, which is an online store to provide easier access for users to buy and download programs just by using internet connection. Although the computer comes with Norton Internet Security trial method for 60 days, it doesn’t offer much help and benefits to users. It’s fortunate that the computer comes with AMD Athlon II X2 460 processor and system memory DDR 3GB. Still, any gamers would wish to use 3D gaming should skip this computer. Too bad the computer can’t be upgraded, so all the poor quality can’t be fixed or taken to the next level. For a computer with price around $400, the computer doesn’t seem to show any good sign, but that’s up to the users.
