Right now, Kno tries to get luck by creating tablets that focus on education market and teachers especially in US market by rolling out two tablets. They are a Kno 14-inch single screen tablet and Kno 14-inch dual screen tablet. Besides, these two tablets are also designed to target the digital textbook market.

It is claimed that these two machines pack 1.0GHz Nvidia tegra T200 CPU and run on Linux-based operating system. The storage capacity is different for each tablet, the Kno 14-inch dual screen has 16GB and it will be coming around with $899 price tag, whereas the 32GB Kno tablet will be tagged $999. The Kno 14-inch single screen 16GB is priced $599, while Kno 14-inch single screen 32GB internal storage costs $699.

Apparently, the major specs included into these two Kno tablets are the same. they are equipped with 14.1-inch (diagonal) color LCD-backlight glossy widescreen multi-touch displays that support Full color spectrum up to 262.144 colors and anti-glare film screen with hard coat surface, 512MB on-board memory, Dual-core ARM Cortex-A9, 16GB/32GB internal memory, and 512MB on-board memory.

To empower the tablets, the lithium-polymer battery provides up to 6 hours lifetime of ‘normal campus’ mode and stylus. The audio formats supported are AAC-LC, WMA 10, ACC, MP3, PCM/WAV Audio formats, MPEG-4, and also JPEG file. Just like Amazon’s Kindle, Kno 14-inch tablet provides an eBook reader for students to read downloaded textbooks.

Other features that should support the machines performance including Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, Micro USB port, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, 3.5-mm stereo headphone jack, Accelerometer, Microphone with active noise cancellation, and Ambient light sensor.

Physically, Kno dual screem tablet measures 1.14 inches depth, 18.3 inches width, 13.8 inches height, and it is weighed at 2.5 kg, whereas Kno single screen tablet measures 13.8 inches height, 9.1 inches width, 0.55 inches depth, and it is weighed at 1.2 kg.
